The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has announced a new partnership with LuckyBets that will see the introduction of the LuckyBets Player of the Match award for all Castle Lager Premier Soccer League fixtures, with each winner receiving US$200 in cash.
The initiative, unveiled today, is designed to recognise, celebrate, and reward outstanding individual performances while contributing to the continued growth and professionalisation of the league.
Under the terms of the partnership, winners will be determined through a structured voting process conducted by members of the media covering each fixture.
The PSL and LuckyBets described the collaboration as a reflection of their shared commitment to elevating the standard of Zimbabwean football by placing greater emphasis on excellence on the field of play.
“By formally recognising standout performances at every match, the award is expected to inspire players to consistently perform at their highest level, while also enriching the overall matchday experience for supporters and stakeholders,” the league said in a statement.
The Player of the Match award will run for all remaining fixtures of the 2026 season.
