Zifa issues Yadah with stern warning

The Zimbabwe Football Association has issued a stern warning to Castle Lager Premier Soccer League newboys Yadah FC after they started off their match on Saturday without a technical bench.

The Walter Magaya owned side had the religious man and a medic, a move Zifa said made ‘a mockery of top-flight football in Zimbabwe’.

ZIFA will not stand by and watch Yadah Stars FC dragging football into the abyss.

The association says it will take measures to make sure club licensing dictates would not be floundered.

The Association has ordered Yadah Stars FC management to put their house in order and ensure that they have fully qualified personnel manning their technical bench in their next league assignment, as per club licensing requirements.

Zifa has said put in strict rules for club development and set minimum licensing standards for clubs.

Yadah were hammered 7-2 in that match against Bantu Rovers.
