Mawoyo named in Zim A squad to face South Africa A

Forgotten batsman Tinotenda Mawoyo has been named in fifteen-man squad to face South Africa A in a four-day match.

Tinotenda Mutombodzi will captain a side which also sees a return for Brian Chari after his bowling action was passed as legal by the International Cricket Council.

The South Africa A squad lands on Wednesday for the match we kicks off on Saturday at Harare Sports Club.

Proteas’ new Test opener, Stephen Cook, leads the 15-man South Africa A squad, which includes other Test players such as Vernon Philander, Dane Piedt, Stiaan van Zyl and Dane Vilas.
