Dynamos have issued an apology after the action of some of its fans resulted in the abandonment of a the big match day 15 tie against traditional rivals Highlanders on Sunday.
“We apologise to all football stakeholders for the unruly behaviour demonstrated by a section of soccer of fans that attended the match,” the statement said.
‘Football is just a game, not war.”
Dynamos says it condemns in the strongest terms any form of violence in football stadia. They added that football is family game.

In essence, the statement hits all the right tones and the club does not shy away. They could have been tempted to simply have a holding statement and blame the refereeing or Bosso fans but they have taken it on the chin and called for peace.
Their fans did invade the pitch twice and one of those resulted in them uprooting the goal posts. You can’t hide from that but it is easy to make excuses.
The statement was issued by Tinashe Farawo, the spokesperson for the club.
