Tendayi Darikwa recently signed a three-year deal with Sky Bet Championship side Burnley.

He made the move from Chesterfield where he won four awards including  Player Of The Year Award and Players’ Player Of The Season Award.

Darikwa was born and raised in the UK and can play for either England and Zimbabwe.

Now many may wonder why he has not turned out for the Warriors who were his first choice especially since he is 23 now.

In writing for The Standard Michael Madyira quoted the young Darikwa as saying a former Zimbabwe Football Association official asked him for a $5,000 ‘processing fee’.

Saka is he saying you have to pay to play for your country, this former official?

Eh?

Like WTF?

Anyway we will be keeping an eye on Darikwa and hope he can get his side back into the Elglish Premier League.
