Zimbabwe Football Association president Dr Philip Chiyangwa has been taken over the leadership of the Council of Southern African Football Associations.
He was elected unopposed after both the current president Patel Suketu and SAFA president Danny Joordan withdrew. Namibia’s Frans Mbidi was elected vice president unopposed as well.
It is a meteoric rise for man who was only recently elected president of his federation.
