Former Zimbabwean captain Brendan Taylor has made a historic start to his career at Nottinghamshire.
Taylor who is there as a Kolpak player after taking a break from Zimbabwe cricket for at least 3 years became the first player in Nottinghamshire to score centuries in each of his two first-class appearances.
His 106 off 188 balls was his first at Lord’s. It was also his Lord’s debut on the opening day of the new LV= County Championship season against Middlesex.
Notts ended the day on 298-9.
