Suspected Domboshava WhatsApp Group serial rapist nabbed and charged

A Harare man who allegedly lured women with promises of jobs via a WhatsApp group to rape them has been arrested.

25-year-old Willard Kudakwashe Jonifati has been arraigned before a Harare Magistrate’s Court on charges of rape and robbery.

It is alleged that he posted fake jobs in WhatsApp groups and took advantage of women who responded.

Jonifati is said to have lured women to secluded areas and repeatedly raped them before robbing them.

Two women whom he took advantage of reported him to the police.

The court held him in remand, meaning he must approach the High Court for bail.
