United States-based Zimbabwean comedian Learnmore Jonasi provided one of the most wholesome moments, as he was given the golden buzzer by Terry Crews to make it to the live round on America’s Got Talent.
“I actually think you are one of the funniest people we have ever had,” the legendary Simon Cowell said. “If you’ve got it, you’ve got it.
“I was laughing so much. You were having the best time as well,”
“Of course, this is my dream,” Learnmore responded.
Howie Mendel called him ‘truly amazing’.
Heidi Klum said she loved his spirit and his accent.
Sofia Vegara waded in saying Learnmore was good from top to bottom.
And that was what the judges said.
Crews, who is Learmore’s inspiration hit the buzzer and told the Zimbabwean, he was going nowhere, stuck with AGT.
According to talentrecap.com, this is an historic moment for Learnmore who becomes the first comedian to earn the Golden Buzzer on a normal season since season 15 in 2015. The last to do so was Drew Lynch who was placed second that season.
