MUSIC: Winky D’s released a brand new politically-charged song, ‘Parliament’

We woke up this morning and we found that Zimdancehall star Winky D had a new song.

Called Parliament the track  and it is like the name suggests in the cauldron of the current political environment.

A lot can be read into the song and there are political leanings implied in statements like

Yasvika zvino nguva yekuti tiyambuke (The time has come for us to cross over to the side)

There is a lot to chew on in this track on an Elders Riddim from Mount Zion Records.

Zimbabwe holds general elections this 30 July 2018 to elect a president, MPs and Councillors.
