The Gwanza: Month of Photography Moonwalking exhibition runs from 19 August to 19 September 2014 showcasing over sixty photographers from Zimbabwe and across the continent, in multiple venues in the city centre of Harare.
It opens on 19 August on the iconic spectacular 14th floor of Joina City.
It aims to engage the general public through the powerful medium of photography by presenting alternative images of Harare and the rest of the continent that are not negative.
Moonwalking seeks to challenge, delight, educate and illuminate.
Leading regional photographers Sammy Baloji, DRC; Mauro Pinto, Mozambique; Andrew Tshabangu, South Africa; Walter Fernandes, Angola and Neo Ntsoma, South Africa will attend the opening ceremony.
