Highlanders have issued an apology to sponsors and stakeholders after another one of their matches was abandoned due to crowd violence.
Almost mirroring the one sent out by Dynamos yesterday, Bosso said, “We would like to take this opportunity to apologize to the sponsors of the game, and all other stakeholders who were equally affected by the Sunday incidents.”
In addressing supporters, the club said, “We would also like to implore the club members to conduct themselves in an exemplary manner on the terraces during soccer matches by shunning missile throwing and pitch invasions.
“Should a member of the club be caught participating in such acts that bring the name of the club and football into disrepute, the club’s leadership will not hesitate to take disciplinary action against such a member, as enshrined in our statutes’, they added.
