Peter, Grobelaar among favourites for Zimbabwe job

Former internationals Peter Ndlovu and Bruce Grobelaar are among candidates shortlisted for the job of the Warriors Zimbabwe Football Assocationboss Philip Chiyangwa has said.

Also interviewed is former Chicken Inn and Motor Action championship winning coach Joey Antipas while rumours are that former Caps United boss Mark Harrison is in the mix.

 

Zimbabwe caretaker coach and current FC Platinum boss Norman Mapeza has reportedly taken himself out of the running and opted to focus on his club football with his contract still two years to the good.

Chiyangwa also said that a sponsor who has not been named will take care of expenses associated with the coach including a salary.

Zimbabwe has been without a coach since Zifa opted out of offering Kalisto Pasuwa a new contact following a disappointing 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals run.
