Zifa and Cosafa president Philip Chiyangwa has been appointed the Confederation of African Football (CAF) vice chairman to take charge of the CAF competitions.
The committee is in charge of where Afcon related games are played and things of that nature.
The appointment was confirmed by Zifa communications manager Xolisani Gwesela on his Twitter account.

He will play deputy to Nigerian FA President Amaju Pinnick who was appointed President of AFCON and media Committees.
