Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League results: Yadah fall, Caps run riot, Highlanders go top

Reigning champions Caps United finally got their groove on as they routed Chapungu United 4-0 in a Zimbabwe Castle Premier Soccer League match on Saturday.

In the other match on that day Triangle registered their first win of the season as they won 2-1 at Bulawayo City.

Yadah Gunners who had impressed thus far got their first loss of the season fell to a solitary Ocean Mushure goal against a Dynamos side itself in need of win to get its season going.

Highlanders claimed the scalp of early pacesetters Ngezi Platinum with a 1-0 victory at Barbourfields Stadium.

Chicken Inn traveled to Hwange and came away with a 1-0 victory while Shabanie Mine beat Tsholotsho by the same scoreline.

The results mean Highlanders now top the table with 12 points. Ngezi Platinum sit second with 10 and Caps United in third lead a slew of clubs on 9 points.
