Zimbabwe will play Cameroon in Yaounde on 10 January, just 10 days before their opening Africa Cup of Nations tie in Gabon.
The friendly came as a proposal of Cameroon who are also due to take part in the tournament.
The Zimbabwe Football Association has confirmed the development, which will be the fourth friendly for the Warriors. Before that they take on African champions Core d’Ivoire in Abidjan on 26 December.
Algeria, Tunisia and Senegal await Zimbabwe in Group B of the 2017 Total Africa Cup of Nations to be played in Gabon from the 14th of January to the 5th of February.
