Without an explanation the new Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) regime has fired the most successful club coach in recent times Calisto Pasuwa.
With little sense made for the move, the new board headed by Dr Philip Chiyangwa has decided that the four-time champion of the domestic league is not the right man for the job.
And just for good measure they have installed Chicken Inn coach Joey Antipas as coach and made his second-in-command Dynamos coach Tonderayi Ndiraya his second-in-command.
Now unless we are given some reason, hiring those two has to come as one of the weirdest acts as they will obviously have not time to go and have a look at what teams are doing except their own.
Not only that, with Pasuwa having picked his squad for the African Nations Championships(CHAN) what the heck now Phidza? Do we just throw this team out and pray to the ancestors for a new one?
Like seriously? Is this the Mickey Mouse club?
We let this happen on our watch. It is our fault.
Hope there is some sense to this or else… hameno.
