Zimbabwe women starred with bat and ball as they beat Namibia by eight wickets in the second match of the Namib Desert Women’s T20 Challenge at the Sparta Oval in Walvis Bay.
New captain Mary Anne Musonda (24) and her predecessor Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano (31) were the architects with the bat as they hunted down a total of 78 with bite and grit.
They reached 80/2 in just 11.4 overs.
And all that was set up by Precious Marange (2-8) and Anesu Mushangwe (2-10) doing the damage with the ball restricting Namibia to 77/6 from their 20 overs.
Zimbabwe lead the five match T20I series 2-0.
