Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League action returned on Saturday with five matches on match day 2.
Ngezi Platinum survived a scare from new boys Mushowani Stars having to come from a goal down at half time to win 2-1. James Nguluve and Donald Teguru scored for the miners after Crybert Muvuti gave a shock lead for Mushowani.
FC Platinum were also 2-1 winners against Triangle United. Ali Sadiki and Lameck Nhamo scored either side of a Ralph Kawondera goal to pick up a win for the champions.
Chicken Inn made it two in two with a 2-0 victory over Yadah. Clive Augusto and Marvin Gaka were the scorers.
Takabva Mawaya scored for ZPC Kariba in their 1-0 win over Herentals.
New boys TelOne picked up their first victory of the season, 1-0 over Bulawayo Chiefs. Tafadzwa Sibanda with the goal.
