Zifa reveals medical issue that has ruled Bonne out of Afcon Qualifiers

The Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) has revealed the reason why Charlton Atletic striker Macauley Bonne is out of the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Zambia and Botswana.

In a statement, Zifa said:

Charlton Athletic has advised that Macauley Bonne had a heart scan today [11/11/19], & will not join the Warriors for the matches against Botswana & Zambia.

He will feature in future matches when he recovers.

We wish him a speedy recovery

Bonne himself released a statement expressing disappointment on not being able to make his dream debut for the Warriors.
