Solomon Mire makes huge jump up T20I rankings

Zimbabwe cricket opener Solomon Mire is now placed 25th in the latest LG ICC T20I rankings after his sterling performance against Australia and Pakistan in the recent Tri-Series at Harare Sports Club.

Previously ranked 222, he makes a leap of 177 to reach his career best ranking following his 202 runs in that series.

Zimbabwe captain Hamilton Masakadza dropped out of the top 10 after a poor performance in the series and is now ranked 18th.

Meanwhile Australia captain Aaron Finch is now ranked number one while Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman and India’s Kl Rahul are ranked second and third.

Zimbabwe meanwhile are ranked 12th 14 points behind Bangladesh in 10th and four behind Scotland in 11th. Pakistan retained first.
