Rautenbach finishes third in penultimate Dakar Rally stage

Zimbabwean driver Conrad Rautenbach finished third in the penultimate stage of this year’s Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia.

The strong finish however places him fourth overall behind Cassie Currie, Sergei Kariakin and Francisco Lopez Contardo in the Side-By-Side category.

While Contardo holds a 19 minute lead ahead of him, Rautenbach needs to be wary of Jose Antonio Lopez who is only 2 minutes behind.
