The tournament runs from 1 to 15 May 2021.

Musonda joins other players from around the world including Pakistani international Fatima Sana, Australian Georgia Redmayne, South African international Shabnim Ismail, West Indies international duo Deandra Dottin and Shamilia Connell among the others.

Musonda has led her side impeccably, leading her side to successive T20 World Cup Global Qualifier spots without losing a single match. She also became the first Zimbabwean to score an ODI hundred on debut, and the sixth woman in history overall.

The six-team tournament will be run in conjunction with Cricket Hong Kong, the Governing body for cricket in Hong Kong.

As the first privately funded tournament of its type, with leading healthcare group Gencor as the lead sponsor, this event marks significant progress in the development of women’s cricket. In line with their mission to progress gender equality on a global scale, FairBreak will bring together players recruited from all corners of the globe to participate in a six-team tournament.
