Prominent advocate Fadazayi Mahere has announced she is running for election as member of parliament of Mount Pleasant.
Having denied she had such interests before Mahere has decided to make the big leap that many expected her to make.
She made the announcement on Facebook live and launched her campaign website.
Mahere challenges Jaison Passade of Zanu-Pf for the house of Assembly seat.

Mahere grew up in Mount Pleasant and is still a part of that community. In recent times she has been very vocal against the Zanu-Pf government, mostly from her social media personal account.
