Prominent opposition leader Nelson Chamisa has opened a news channel on WhatsApp.
And true to form, he has named it after himself.
“I have opened this Chamisa News Channel (CNC) to share my vision, ideas, thoughts, insights and perspectives on current affairs and the steps into the future,” he posted on his X platform.
It is not the first time he attempted at a media space of some sort.
A few months ago, there was an aborted launch of a video service on X.
“We’re that great community of the civilized!!” Chamisa said about the latest venture.
Within 24 hours, the WhatsApp Channel had over 36,000 subscribers.
