Twenty-one of the 29 MDC-T activists accused of murdering police inspector Petros Mutedza have been acquitted by High Court Judge Justice Chinembiri Bhunu.
Of the 29 one of the inmates Rebecca Mafukeni passed away in August, this year.
Therefore seven of them will face trial after Justice Bhunu ruled that the State had proved a prima facie case against them.
Their case was postponed Sine Die.
