Man survives attempted murder after demanding back his money

A man is in court facing attempted charges after he tried to kill someone who asked for their money to be reimbursed, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) is reporting.

Byron Kachimanga (24) of Matura, Chinhoyi was arraigned before the Chinhoyi Magistrates’ Court facing attempted murder charges.

Allegations are that, on the 4th of September 2024, the complainant, Jabulani Manokoro, asked for his money from the accused person. That did not go well with Kachimanga who followed him on his way home and struck him twice with an axe on the head. T

Manokoro fell down and Kachimanga ran away.

The accused appeared in court on Friday for his bail application.
