Kadoma mine disaster: 24 bodies retrieved

24 bodies had been retrieved by late Saturday from the mine shaft at the Battlefields mine disaster.

While efforts to get survivors were still on, hope was fading as time wore on.

The news of 24 bodies of those who drowned in the Silver Moon and Cricket Mine shafts will have rocked the town especially after earlier in the day eight miners had been rescued alive.
