ConCourt throws out Kaskukuwere ballot appeal

Saviour Kasukuwere

The Constitutional Court has thrown out an appeal by former minister Saviour Kasukuwere as he races against time to get his name on the ballot.

In response, the exiled former Zanu-PF firebrand said, “We have noted the judgement and interestingly it opens new avenues for us to appeal the SC judgement and luckily we are still within time.

“As long as the court rooms are open, it’s game on until the Fat lady sings. Prof Wel Ncube, Adv Method Ndhlovu, Adv Mutero and team well done. Battles are lost but not the WAR. We fight on.”

Kasukuwere was disputing a High Court order that prevented him from contesting since he had been out of the country for more than 18 months.
