All Africans to get visas on arrival in Nigeria from January 2020 – Buhari

It has become just that little bit easier for Africans to travel to the continent’s most populous country.

All Africans will be able to get a visa at point of entry from January 2020.

This was announced by Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari at a peace and development summit in Egypt.

As it stands Africans need visas in advance to travel to half of the countries on the continent. Only 25% don’t need a visa while 24% can get visa on arrival.

As for where Zimbabwe stands? It is in the top 20 of African Visa Openness report after announcing a visa-on-arrival policy for Sadc countries’ citizens.
