So you may have heard that the human body replaces itself every 7 years.
Well not exactly. Some parts of the body change rapidly while others change a lot more rapidly.
So for example, your stomach lining as well intestine cells replaces itself every five days because of the heavy-duty work from indigestion. You have a completely new skin every two to four weeks. Your red blood cells last less than half a year. Your bones take about ten years and so forth.
But there are parts of you that will never be replaced. So your teeth, well when they go bad, they do not regrow. The inner lens of your eye are don’t grow back. The neurons in your cerebral cortex (the part largely responsible for attention, perception, awareness, thought, memory, language, and consciousness).
