The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) says it has arrested two of its officers over bribery allegations.
Sargeant CHifamba and Constable Gunzva have been arrested and are now in detention, cops said in a statement.
The two were seen on viral social media videos on a ZRP motorbike taking bribes from pirate kombis, taxis and registered pubic services vehicles along Harare-Mutare Road at the Mabvuku turn-off.
Describing the two as ‘bad apples’, cops say Chifamba andGunzva face disciplinary and criminal charges.
