Concession man caught with 10kgs of dagga

Norman Clever Chitandwa (24) was brought before the Concession Magistrates’ Court, facing allegations of unlawful dealing in dangerous drugs, alternatively, illegal possession of dangerous drugs, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) is reporting.

It is the state’s case, on the 8th of July 2024, at the 40.5km peg along the Harare-Mkumbura road, the accused person, who was driving a Honda Fit, was allegedly found in possession of 10 large packs Of dagga at a roadblock.

Chitandwa was subsequently arrested. The recovered dagga weighed 10,646kg.

He was remanded in custody and will appear in court on the 26th of July, 2024.
