Zim PSL 2024 Matchday 5 Saturday roundup: Ngezi lose

Champions Ngezi Platinum continued their lacklustre start to the season, as they were beaten 2-1 by Green Fuel. Green Fuel scored took the lead through Donald Ngoma, Polite Moyo equalised for the chanmpions, before James Nguluve won it. All goals were in a frenetic first half hour.

Simba Bhora piled more misery on Yadah as they won 2-1 in the first match held at the Heart Stadium. Khama Billiat failed again to help his side to a win as Tymo Machope and Walter Musona put Simba Bhora up, before Blessed Ndereki set up a grand stand finish.

Arenal Movers won the fight between the newboys, beating Bikita Minerals 2-1. ZPC Kariba neat Herentals by the same score.
