PRETTY BAD: Power supply dips to less than 900MW on Wednesday

Zimbabweans will have to get used to this for the next two months – PIC: Ankur Sharma

Zimbabwe’s power issues continued to be nightmarish as supply came from one source and thus dipped to less than 900MW.

The utility supplier was only able to supply 878MW. This down from a already dire 1029MW. Zimbabwe needs about 2,200MW to meet its demands.

Of the 878MW, Kariba provided 853MW, Munyati 14MW and Harare 11MW.

Hwange was completely offline while Bulawayo offered nothing.
