Zifa allays fears over kit for Botswana game

The Zimbabwe Football Association has moved to allay fears that Warriors kit for the match against Botswana on Friday night might not be available.

Zifa was responding to reports that the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (Zimra) had held up the kit over procedural issues.

Zifa says, don’t worry. It is not what it looks like:

It is not the kit that will be used for the match tomorrow. We have kits from previous matches, like the one used for the world cup qualifier and CHAN qualifiers. That is just another consignment of what we get from our kit sponsor

Zimbabwe are set to open their Africa Cup of Nations 2021 qualifier against Botswana at the National Sports Stadium on Friday before taking on Zambia in Lusaka on Tuesday.
