Zimbabwe have gone for a youthful side as they make a return to the international cricketing fold.
This is for two tri-series which will see Zimbabwe take on Bangladesh and Afghanistan. After that they will head over to Singapore for another tri-series which involves the hosts and Nepal.
The big news is that Sikandar Raza has been excluded pending disciplinary proceedings over issues raised by outgoing captain Hamilton Masakadza.
Said convenor of selectors Walter Chawaguta:
It is important that we support our captain, whether it is Masakadza or anyone else, by creating an environment in which we can be confident he will have the full support of all players, with everyone pulling in the same direction and able to trust each other. It is for those reasons that we have decided to leave Raza out
The other big news is that Sean Williams will captain the Singapore tour even though current vice captain Peter Moor is included in that tour. Moor is not in the team that heads to Bangladesh.
