Sundowns ready to make Khama record signing in SA

Mamelodi Sundowns are ready to break the bank with an SA record fee for players sold between clubs in that ciuntry as a bid to re-sign Zimbabwe international Khama Billiat from Kaizer Chiefs intensifies.

Masandawana are reportedly ready to part with a cool R15million to regain the services of a man they let leave for Amakhosi a year ago on a free.

Billiat has not played for Kaizer Chiefs since the season started with the side citing injury. It would seem the reason is the player’s intent on going back to the side he won the CAF Champions League with.

It had been said that teams from North Africa were interested in the Zimbabwe talisman after his showing in the Africa Cup of Nations this winter. In spite of his national side flattering to deceive, Billiat’s performances were enough to create interest in the player.
