Prince bags hat-trick as Warriors sail through

Prince Dube grabbed his first hat-trick for Zimbabwe helping the Warriors to a 3-1 win over Mauritius in the second leg second round CHAN 2020 qualifying match at Barbourfields Stadium on Stadium.

Mauritius, down 4-0 from the first leg, shocked the crowd through Andrew Astride’s strike in the third minute.

Dube turned on the magic and had Zimbabwe level in 15th minute.

The two sides went into the break level before Dube added two goals in the second half, handing Zimbabwe a 7-1 aggregate win, putting his side through to the final qualifying round where they meet Lesotho who knocked South Africa out.

Good look for acting coach Rahman Gumbo.

Fun stat, Prince Dube is the eighth player to score a hat-trick for Zimbabwe at national level.
