Zim PSL Match Day 1 Sunday roundup: Caps win, Ngezi lose

Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match day 1 action continued with a Caps United victory.

The Harare giants were 2-0 winners over Manica Diamonds. Joel Ngodzo from the spot scored after a John Zhuwao goal.

Erol Akbay’s Ngezi Platinum reign started poorly for the moneybags as they lost 2-1 to Triangle United. Kudzai Chigwida and Russel Madamombe scored for the Triangle while Barnabas Mushunje was on target for Ngezi.

Gilbert Zulu and Shepard Gahadzikwa scored in Hwange’s 2-0 over Yadah while TelOne got their first ever points in top flight football with a 0-0 draw against Herentals.
