Men’s faces look more attractive to women after they listen to music – study

The theory has always prevailed that if you play someone music and show them a face, the person is always more attractive.

Well 64 women were put to the test in which they listened to a 25 second music clip. After t a silence they were then shown a male face.

They found that the most arousing and complex music gave the men’s faces the biggest boost in attractiveness.

Helmut Leder, co-author of the study from the University of Vienna:

Facial attractiveness is one of the most important physical characteristics that can influence the choice of a partner. We wanted to find out how music can alter the perception of this feature

So in short, if you want to get a potential partner to find you attractive take her to a gig, a concert or break out an instrument and play music.

Because the science says so.
