Heartbreak as Harare’s Maestro closes doors

Popular Harare upmarket club restaurant and lounge Maestro will be closing its doors at the end of January.

And believe it or not… it is to make way for a new Trek Service Station to take over the property.

The shocking announcement was made in a communique which said in spite of a tough environment and the business ‘doing well’ they had to close, classifying a comeback as a ‘maybe’.

Look. We are not fans of the $2 water at Maestro but given the paucity of entertainment settings in Harare (you heard Pariah Avondale as moving across the road to focus more on restauranting right?) it is a load of who knows what.

The last super-popular Urbane Thursdays with DJ Icytat and Raydizz will run for the last time this week with meals at specials (some at half price).

4 years is hard to leave after.

We are like, erm… wtf dude?

Amusement does not live within us.
