Former UN head, Boutros Boutros-Ghali dies

The former UN secretary general with one of the coolest names we ever came across Boutros Boutros-Ghali has died.

He was aged 93.

His death was confirmed by Rafael Ramirez, the Venezuelan ambassador to the UN and current president of the UN Security Council.

He served his position in 1992 and served one five year term.

Boutros-Ghali was the first Arab to serve as UN chief.

While we’re not fans of the UN we can say that after the first gulf we heard his name… a lot.
