Zifa appoints Manica Diamonds boss as interim head coach

In a predictable move, the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) Normalisation Committee has named Manica Diamonds boss Jairos Tapera as head coach.

He will be assisted by defending league championship coach Takesure Chiragwi and Saul Chaminuka with Sunday Chidzambwa as Technical Advisor.

Their single assignment are the Fifa World Cup Qualifiers against Lesotho and South Africa.

The appointment is another fumbled ball by the Lincoln Mutasa-led executive who have have seemingly and repeatedly willfully misled the country about the appointment of a substantive coach.

They did what they have always since they came in.

Look for whoever is the form team and appoint their coach.
