The show us being organised by Xtra Time Entertainment in partnership with Zula Sound Bar.
On why he was doing a Cape Town show, Tonderai Mwaita from Xtra Time said:
We were responding to the massive calls for Tuku’s return as well as taking the opportunity to continue flying the Zimbabwean flag high throughout Africa by bringing quality entertainment to not only Zimbabweans living and working in Cape Town, but Cape Town residents as a whole.
The last time Tuku performed in Cape Town at Kirstenbosch gardens, this past December over 5,000 went to watch him. So he has a following there.
Also performing on the same night will be DJ Wilson, Vhedza, Bernadette M & DJ Oats and many more.
