Oscar Pistorius will find out his sentence for culpable homicide on Tuesday 21 September.
Judge Thokozile Masipa listened to arguments from the state and the defence this past week. They ended on Friday.
The defence led by Advocate Barry Roux wants correctional supervision, which is essentially some house arrest and community service. The state led by Advocate Gerrie Nel wants a minimum of 10 years to satisfy the public.
It is squeaky-bum time for Pistorius who shot and killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on 14 February 2013.
