DPM Khupe Back In Hospital

Zimbabwe’s Deputy Prime Minister and MDC- T vice-president Thokozani Khupe is back in hospital in South Africa for cancer radiation treatment.

DPM Khupe underwent successful radiation therapy in November last year. She said the latest treatment was just a routine check-up and she expected to be discharged next week.

DPM Khupe went public about her breast cancer last, a commendable move which we think will help raise awareness about breast cancer. Breast cancer is a condition that is often ignored by many until it is too late. Seeing someone of such a stature taking action and being public about it should serve as a form of inspiration to many.
