The Confederation of Southern African Football Associations (COSAFA) and brewer SABMiller Africa have signed a sponsorship agreement for the next five years.
The announcement was made on Saturday after the COSAFA Annual General Meeting and will cover the sponsorship of the COSAFA Cup.
The organisation also said that it was in discussions to help Namibia to host a tournament in May next year.
Three FIFA presidential candidates Jerome Champagne, Gianni Infantino and Tokyo Sexwale were present at the meeting where they were campaigning for support from COSAFA.
New Zifa president Dr Philip Chiyangwa and his CEO Jonathan Mashingaidze represented Zimbabwe at the meeting.
