Bonne bangs brace in Ipswich’s Doncaster demolition

Zimbabwean striker Macauley Bonne continued his hot streak as he scored a brace for his Ipswich Town in their 6-0 victory over Doncaster Rovers in League One action on Tuesday.

Bonne opened the scoring with a tap-in into an open net on the 13th minute mark to give his side the lead.

His second was a volley of sumptuous brilliance, the forth for his side. It was a pass from the line, just inside the penalty box, where he chested it and then powered it into the net.

Sam Evans got a hat-trick, while Edmundson got the other goal.

Bonne looks set to get a call-up for Norman Mapeza’s Fifa World Cup Qualifier squad, set to be announced Wednesday.
