Fuel prices in Zimbabwe went up by between six and ten cents per litre over the weekend.
State media says it found petrol at between $1,51 and $1,58 per litre depending on location, while diesel is being sold at between $1,37 and $1,42 per litre.
Before the latest round of increase, the price of petrol ranged from $1,38 to $1,49 per litre, while that of diesel was $1,34 to $1,38 per litre.
The increases are blamed on increasing international prices.
You know what that means. The price of most things will shoot up. Of course when the international oil prices go down, the local price of fuel will remain the same. When the next increase in oil prices happens the fuel price will go up again.
